About Me
I grew up in a creative environment. My mother, a banker, was creative with the finances, my father adept in pen and ink and my grandmother fashioned sculpture from repurposed Venetian blinds. I learned at an early age, to laugh at every day absurdities.
In an effort to continually challenge myself, I studied painting under artist Molly Dummit for more than 10 years. It was her tutelage that taught me to mix laughter with oils and oodles of brushes. With Divine intervention the colors flowed on to the canvas and I was hooked.
I paint for the joy of blending colors and experiencing the results. I never take myself too seriously. I am a work in progress.
